What Rantiva stores

For patients: name, phone number, whether they agreed to WhatsApp messages, their appointments or refill plans, payments, and every WhatsApp message sent to or received from them. For staff: name, email and a securely hashed password.

What it is used for

Booking and reminding patients of appointments, taking deposits and refill payments, and reminding patients of regular refills. Messages are only sent to patients who agreed to receive them.

What messages contain

Patient messages never name a treatment, medicine or condition, because a message preview can be read by anyone holding the phone.

Who can see it

Each practice sees only its own patients. Payments are processed by our payment provider, which receives the amount and a payment reference.

Your rights

You can ask the practice that holds your data for a copy, a correction or deletion, and you can withdraw your consent to WhatsApp messages at any time.
